Returns & Refunds Policy

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, sizing issues, or color preferences.

We use unfiltered, raw photos of every piece to show them as accurately as possible. While we make every effort to capture the true colors and details, slight variations can occur due to lighting, screen settings, or the nature of handmade ceramics.

As a ceramic artist (not a professional photographer), I do my best to represent each item honestly.

Damaged Items: If your ceramic arrives broken or damaged during shipping, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the damaged item and packaging. We will evaluate the claim promptly.

If approved, you may choose a replacement item of equal or lesser value (no less than $10). We will cover the cost of shipping the replacement. You may also keep your damaged item.

This policy protects both the artist and the customer while keeping our small handmade business sustainable. Thank you for supporting independent makers!

At The Moody Mare, each ceramic piece is handmade with care and packed with extra attention to ensure it arrives safely at your door.

  • Packaging: All ceramics are individually wrapped in multiple layers of bubble wrap, foam, and/or packing peanuts, then secured inside a sturdy double-walled corrugated box with "Fragile" and "Handle with Care" labels.

  • Shipping Times: Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1–3 business days. Once shipped, USPS or UPS delivery times average 3–7 business days depending on your location.

  • Cost: Shipping is charged using a flat rate based on the average size and weight of our ceramic items. Packaging materials are not included in this rate. We absorb a portion of those costs to help keep shipping affordable for you.

  • International Orders: Please contact us before purchasing for a shipping quote. International buyers are responsible for any customs fees, duties, or taxes.

We take every precaution to protect your purchase, but please inspect your package immediately upon arrival and report any damage within 48 hours.
